July 4th was on a Monday this year, which made it so we didn't get up to Centerville...which worked out for the best, because centerville mountain caught fire the night before the parade so everything was cancelled for the 4th. No one went up this year we all did St. George things which was kinda weird. We ended up going to the Hurricane 4th parade. Preston had to work a 12 hour shift that day so we missed him for most of it. Shaylee didn't come to the parade because she said we didn't wake her up soon enough to get ready. lol. We were more toward the end of the parade but still made out with a pretty good haul on the candy department. After the parade we came home and got ready to go over swimming at Grandma Eves. They were out of town for the 4th so it was just our family over there swimming. After swimming Preston had requested a BBQ so we had Hamburgers and Hotdogs. We then tried to find fireworks around our home. A bunch of Fire trucks and police went down our road so we walked to see what was going on and found a little fire they were fighting. Over all it was a very laid back, chill 4th of july.
