Brecken Tennis camp

Brecken loves tennis and loves the tennis coach.  Coach Rahde.  Brecken loves any chance he can to go to tennis so was excited he was signed up for the first camp of the summer.  It was the first time playing since his broken arm so it was a little sore and rusty, but he loved being back swinging.

 

Cousin Time

We spent the day at Jellystone with cousins and had the best time.  Dani and her family bought passes when we did so we decided to go together so our kids would have friends.  They played all day there.  After Jellystone we took Kai and Mya with us to have a cousins sleepover.  They played outside with flashlights and walkie talkies most of the evening.  Then ended with a little "Wipe out" show.  Dean had to work that night so it was just me and the kids.  They finally quieted down around 10:30 to go to sleep.  We woke up the next morning and headed straight down to st george because Mya had plans at 10:00.  We took Kai with us and went to Fiesta Fun and grabbed a lunch on the way back home.  He played Friday with the kids and we took him home when we went down to get dinner that night.  The kids all get along great and it was fun to have them over.  

 

May 28th-June3rd

Preston is in Las Lomitas with Elder Hughes.  The area is a bust right know and they are having a hard time finding people to teach.  The weather has gotten cooler for winter so at least they aren't dying of heat stroke.  They have found a few people who will listen and let them teach them, but then it rained on sunday and didn't have anyone come to church so that was a bummer.  They are trying to have the members in the ward work with them to bring people to family home evening or to church and they are going off of that for right now. They went on a hike for P day to some sort of lake (national monument in paraguay). It was a little bit wet and rainy from the day before but that didn't stop them from going.

 

Celebrating aunt Stephanie

Saturday the 1st We surprised Stephanie with a hike and a sound bowl meditation down by the virgin river.  it was such a beautiful morning and the area couldn't have been more perfect.  After the hike and meditation we took her to lunch/brunch at the river rock restaurant.  Sunday her birthday we celebrated her turning 40 with the family.  I  had been gathering letters for about a month and wanted to get 40 letters from 40 family and friends for her 40th.  We all love her a lot nd the kids wanted her to open the letters as soon as she could.  She waited tell she was alone and it about killed them. lol. she is a special soul and Im so blessed to have a relationship with her and be her sister.  She is one in a million. 

 

Co Ed Soccer

Shaylee was asked to play on a co ed adult soccer team.  They had to have at least 2 girls on the field at all times.  Shaylee pretty much played every game the whole game.  They had a great season and ended up winning the championship game.  She had to leave FSY a day early because their game was Friday night.
