Spring Break Day 2

Day 2 of spring break we headed to a tennis/pickleball court park to play some ball, they weather was cool and windy and when we got their all the courts were full on both ends.  We decided to walk around the duck/fish pond and the boys played at the park for a little bit.  A lady stopped us to pet her dog...Brecken abliged her and he fed her a treatl.  He was so slobbery and gross I  couldn't get anywhere by him.  lol.  After the park we went home and got ready.  The clouds were moving in to rain later and it was windy so we chose to go shopping inside a mall.  We hit up a store our nephew Tanner told us about. going going gone and it has all things nike, adidas any sports brand outlet and the deals were amazing.  We were in that store alone for like 2 hours.  Dean could have probably stayed longer.  The kids and I  left him there while we moved on to different stores.  Addison found a fun store for her and the boys were getting antsy and Brecken said he wasn't feeling to good so I  took the boys to get pretzels while Addison and Dean kept shopping.  They had some cool legos built in the mall and a lego store that was fun to walk through.  They also had a rainforest cafe that the kids thought was cool.  We didn't eat there though because no one was hungry after the pretzels.   We went home and let the boys jump in the pool for maybe 10 minutes and then the realized it was to cold and windy.  The rain was getting ready to come any minute as well.  After we got all ready adn watched some basketball we headed out to target and ross looking for shoes.  For dinner we went to Lonestar steakhouse and the kids devoured their steaks. While we ate it downpoured.  After dinner we headed home to watch a movie and play some games.  

 

Spring Break day #1

We left Wednesday morningWe headed to Phoenix for another Spring break.  We were trying to chase warm weather. As it would happen a cold spell moved into phoenix with rain which they never get.  We drove to flagstaff to visit my brother Matt and nephew Tanner.  They were dealing with snow up by them.  We hung out and went to lunch with them and then got back on the road to finish our journey. We tried to make the most of the poor weather. We arrived to our AirBB around 3:00 and the boys jumped right in.  aThe pool was heated so each day the boys would jump in....they just wouldn't last very long. After swimming for a bit we got out some corn hole and played for awhile with the boys while Addison layed out in the semi sunny weather. After warming up in the shower we went out to get some groceries and then got some to go Chili's.  After we ate we watched a little BYU basketball and went in the game room and played air hockey with the boys and we would take turns playing on the arcade when we were not playing air hockey.  It was a long travel day, but it felt good to make it and enjoy some time off.

 

Chores before Spring Break

Before we left for Spring Break we had to drop off the car for an oil change and tune up.  We had to clean and scrub the house and do laundry and I  had these 2 little guys to help me pass the time and chores.  They did great each tackling their own bathroom and helping me out in anyway.  We also did a cut on Landons hair and gave Brecken a perm.  I  think we are all ready for Phoenix tomorrow.

 

Skiing with Friends

Brecken has been up skiing with friends the last couple weekends.  He has had a great time because the provider is so fresh adn new.  He has had a blast hanging out with his friends.  This last time was  like a blizzard.  The fog was so thick and the wind so cold they all came home with snow and ice in their haris so make them look like old men.  They had fun though even though they were all frozen. You have boyd, his dad, Jet, Callen and Brecken who all went the last couple weeks.
