More spring golf private lessons & Soccer

Spring weather has been so nice and mild.  The boys for the month of April took private lessons from Micheal Sterling.  They learned a lot and both of them said they loved it.  We also had soccer Saturday and had to head up to Cedar City.  It was a windy cold day.  I  was in a skirt coming from a baptism so I  stayed in the truck and watched from there.  I  put Brecken in charge of the pictures and I  only got a few okay ones, and also a selfie of course of Brecken.  The score got up there like 8-0 so he headed to set in the truck with me and get out of the wind. Landon hada. couple goals, and I think everyone but one person scored that game.

 

3rd grade field trip

Three Falls second grade and up had the opportunity to walk to the high school and see their theater production of Frozen.  I was able to go and walk with Landon and his class.  Our backyard neighbor played olaf and we were excited to see him.  He was actually the best part of the show and I  wished we saw him more, but overall not a bad play and the company was even better.

 

March Madness comes to an end

March Madness came to an end and we were sad that BYU got out and then sad our teams we chose didn't win it all.  Aunt Stephanie won our bracket, followed by Myself and Landon.  It was fun to do the bracket wall and see who was moving on each day.  We all love watching and will miss it until next year.  

 

Shaylee's Mission March 31st-April 6th

No email this week as she was heading out on her 8 hour drive to Fort St. Johns in British columbia.  She has a new sister she is training with Sis. Opp, and they picked up their greenie on the way out Sis. Day (who they will be training together).  Shaylee is so worried about being so far out.  They won't be by their zone people and so p days will consist of just them. 

 

Easter Festivities

Easter was a beautiful weekend this year.  No wind, and we could go without a coat for the day.  The boys wanted to wake up early and go over to the Hurricane City Easter Egg Hunt.  The boys were in two different areas because of their age group so we divided and conquered.  This is Breckens last year of doing a hunt and he was pretty bummed. lol. The boys were excited this year because they had gift cards in some of the eggs or poking up out of the group.  They got some Applebee meals, as well as some Chuck a rama gift meals.  With a bunch of candy of course.  After the Easter Egg Hunt we went home to change and went and played some Tennis.  It was such a fun and nice morning and both Preston and Addison came to be with us.  Tennis was great and we played with Aunt Stephanie as well so we had some good teams going into it.  Preston, Addison, Brecken, and Dean played a few double games and it was pretty close the whole time.  After tennis we walked over to the Easter car show to walk around with Grandpa and Grandma Eves and my Unlce Royce and Aunt Dawn were in town so they came too.  Its fun to walk the car show with Jer and hear all the stories he has about cars and things.  I hope my kids realize how lucky we are to live so close to family.  After the car show we came home for lunch and to color easter eggs.  We didn't have tons of time as we had Landon's soccer game later that afternoon with Dean coaching.  They are such a good team and ended up winning the game Landon had a couple goals to help out with the win.  After the game we went out to eat at one of our favorite mexican restaurants Paula's. The next morning was Easter Sunday as well as General Conference.  It was so nice to just sit and listen to talks about our Savior all day.  After conference we headed over to grandma's for her egg hunt as well as for dinner and spending time with family.  Uncle Matt was down so we were able to visit with him as well as have Justin's girls join us as well.  

                            

Golf lessons

The boys have been doing golf lessons every tuesday since the first week in March.  They have challenges at the end of the lessons and both Brecken and Landon have won some of them.  On this day Brecken made a putt to win him a drink.  Landon also won I  think with a putt or chip and won a drink as well.  They have been liking the lessons, they just wish they had friends doing it with them.
