Road trip Yosemite National Park day 1

I  was pretty excited about this trip.  I had wanted to go to yosemite for awhile.  We were able to have everyone join us (except Shaylee of course).  We left Thursday morning around 7:30.  Landon had decided to get sick Wednesday when it was just me and him hanging out.  It went into Thursday when we were trying to leave.  We packed some throw up bags and hoped for the best.  I  knew it was just his disease that was acting up on him.  It had been about 4 weeks. We stopped in Hurricane and then again in St. George to let him throw up and get the kids some breakfast.  After a couple hours he started to feel better and we were able to drive without the throwing up.  We had to stop at a little gas station in the middle of nowhere and get gas and use the restroom.  It was out in Area 51 so everything was alien in the little house/store.  After a long day of traveling we arrived at one of the entrances to Yosemite.  It was so green and the rivers were gorgeous as well as all the rock formations.  We stopped at a few stopping points to get out and take some pictures.  We got to our place unloaded and then decided to find a place to eat.  We ended up at a mexican place.  We were all so hungry and ate every last bite.  After we got home we walked along the golf course around are cabin and saw some deer, we then hit the sack knowing we had to be up at 4:00 the next morning to bypass all the lines into yosemite.

 

Brecken Young Mens camp 2026

The week we were leaving on our trip we found out Brecken had young men's camp.  It worked out that he could go it was Monday-Wednesday and we were leaving Thursday.  They had boat races made out of home made boats the boys had to help build, they learned how to shoot a bow and arrow, they shot guns, threw axes, fished, and played games.  I  think he had a great time and even caught a fish.  He ended up having a great time with his friends and leaders.

 

One on One

Before we left on vacation Brecken had Young Mens camp monday-wednesay.  Landon and I  had some fun days of just us.  We used his gift card for free mini golf, as well as playing in the arcade...his favorite.  He got some little trinkets and treats from the arcade tickets. After that we did a little shopping and then went and used his other gift card to chick fil a.  He was one happy boy.  When we got home we played games and he played in the sprinkler.  We then met dean up at the golf course adn went out last minute to end the day.  He loves golf and any activity really where he gets to play a sport.
