Prestons 15th Birthday!

 Preston turned the big 15 this year.  I cant believe next year he will be driving.  He is a great young man, and works hard at everything he puts his mind too.  He didn't have much time to do anything for his birthday because his birthday was on a Sunday, and he had a golf tournament the Thursday Friday Saturday leading up to it.  He loves golf, and basketball right now.  He has glasses in this picture, but mind you they are fake...I guess it's the in thing...fake glasses...who knew.  He loves the Utah Jazz, and watches every game he possibly can.  We sure do love having you in our family Preston.

Eves Family Christmas Party

We waited to have the Eves Family Christmas party until Justin and Katie's family could make it down.  We love seeing them and so glad they live in the same state now.  We had the Christmas party on the 29th, we had yummy food, played games, and did they anticipated white elephant gift exchange.  We had a blast.  Brecken got Sharpie Markers...he was in heaven.  Landon got Putty, and puzzles...also a great gift for him.  Addison got talkies, bubble gum machine, and treats....she was in heaven...she had to steal this gift from Kendyll.  Shaylee got lotion and body scrub, Preston got golf balls.  Dean got sausage and cheese kit, and I received some yummy cookies and chocolate.  We all had a great time and our grateful for family.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was magical.  Landon was at a fun age where he got excited about EVERYTHING.  The kids all got what they wanted from Santa.  Brecken asked for Rocks and Gems, and a Bike.  Landon asked for a Hoop.  Shaylee wanted new room decor, Addison wanted a bike, and Preston wanted a Donavon Mitchell Jersey and a new putter.  The day was very relaxing.  The kids woke up around 6:30, they all slept in Shaylee's room except Landon, and Preston.  We let them come down a little after 7:00.  I had to get breakfast in the oven before they came down.  We then spent the morning relaxing and opening boxes to let the kids play with the toys.  We then went over to Grandpa and Grandma Eves house to give them their gifts and eat Christmas lunch and hang out with family.  We came home around 4:00 and cousins came to see what Santa had brought.  When they left we turned on a Hallmark and watched a couple shows, played our new switch games, and had a very relaxing evening.  I sure do love this crew of mine, and know how blessed we have been this year.  We love our savior and know this is the true reason we celebrate the season.  Know time to take down Christmas to get ready for Preston's Birthday and New Years Eve.

Christmas Eve Fun!!

Christmas Eve was filled with our many traditions.  Starting with Breakfast with the Monson crew, and Eves at Kneaders.  We all feed our faces with good french toast, and omelettes, and then headed off to Fiesta Fun.  I was in charge of all the little who couldn't bowl, while the rest of them had a fun game of bowling bingo.  Everyone had a great time.  The little ones had a blast in the arcade playing  games, while the big people bowled.  It was fun to see all the cousins and family.  After bowling we headed home and made some goodies while watching a Hallmark show.  We headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Eves house for Christmas Eve.  We had great food with good company and focused on the birth of our savior.  When we got home from Christmas Eve we opened up our Christmas PJ's, and exchanged our draw names.  Preston had Landon and got him some Nerf guns.  Which he loves, Landon had Brecken and got him a rock kit and art kit.  Brecken had Preston and got him some stance socks and BYU sports shirt.  Shaylee had Addison and gave her a glitter black pack with gum, lotion and other things.  Addison gave shaylee a big picture frame that is a white board with days if the week.  Like a planner.  Everyone loved their gifts.  We had such a great day with lots of laughs and loves.
