We let the kids open one gift Christmas Eve. It's always the Sibling gift. The kids draw names to see who they shop for. This year Landon had Preston, Brecken had Shaylee, Addison had Landon, Shaylee had Brecken, and Preston had Addison. Everyone was more than excited for their gifts. Preston got Addison some colored Joggers that she wanted with a shirt and takkies, Brecken got shaylee a dress, and shirt to go with it and hot cheetos, Landon gave Preston boxing gloves and a work out shirt. Brecken and Landon both wanted sticky bullet guns, treats, and bullets.

Christmas Eve Morning/Day
I feel like I start out every post saying "Because of Covid", but it's true. With Covid we all had to stagger out eating times so that we could all eat in the dining area. They only have a number of seats open to sit at, so we had to spread out but for the most part we were able to eat together at kneaders. It was a beautiful morning for a late December day, and I just love the excitement from everyone with Christmas being the next day. Eric and Marie went to the kneaders closest to their house, and then we meet up with them at the bowling alley. We also meet up with Quin and Dani there as well they ended up waking up late and getting McDonalds. We spent about an hour eating and then headed over to bowl. We were toward the front of the line for bowling, and had a blast playing with everyone. This was the first year that I didn't have to watch kids over in the game area. Brecken and Landon both stayed and bowled their whole round. I think Devin won in the Eves family and then I think Dean or Quin won on the Monson round. We had a blast with family and enjoyed each other's company. The bowling alley was really crowded with a lot of people waiting so we didn't stay around after we finished for to long. After we left bowling we headed home to get stuff and goodies ready for Christmas Eve dinner and fun. While we were waiting to head to Grandpa and Grandma Eves they boys did a Christmas Tree craft. They had a blast decorating the cone to look like a tree and then putting it in a cup to hand as an ornament our own Christmas tree. We then headed over to My parents for a night of good food, good games, and good company.

Christmas Lights
We didn't get around to looking at Christmas lights with all the families, but we loaded up and went with our little family. I made hot chocolate and we took it in our mugs and hit the road. We decided to hit some around our area instead of going into St. George. There was about 5-6 that were recommended between Toquerville, LaVerkin, and Hurricane. La Verkin had a Christmas light fight house and so we definitely wanted to make sure we stopped by there. It was fun to see all the lights with all the kids. With the older 3 it's a little harder for us to all be together with all their activities and things with school and work going on, but it was nice to have a break and be together. We loved 3 out of the 5 houses so we called it a win. We are so excited for Christmas and wish time would slow down so we could enjoy it longer.
