Black Friday

We woke up on Black Friday and Dean decided him and Shaylee were going to go down to Vegas to shop.  I  stayed back with the boys.  Addison had to be dropped off to go snowboarding with some of the cousins.  The boys and I  had grandpa and them come help us finish up our lights, then we racked our leaves, mowed the yard, and had lunch with grandpa and grandma and watched the USA soccer game.  After that we played some games went to the store to pick out stuff or our Rolo Christmas snacks the boys love to make, and we watched a Christmas show with DQ for dinner and costa for me.

 

Thanksgiving with the Eves

We had Thanksgiving with the Eves this year.  We were lucky and were able to have Jessica, and Chloe join us.  They are going to BYU Idaho and were closer to us than their parents.  It was a really relaxing day we ate, hung out, played games, napped, shopped online, and watched football. My most favorite part was when we got a surprise call from Elder Monson.  We talked to him for about 40 minutes and enjoyed it so much.  He had just got a new companion the day before so we got to meet him and just talk with Preston.  I  think he was missing home a little so it was good to chat with him.  They don't have a thanksgiving holiday in Paraguay so it was just a normal day for them. I am so thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, I'm thankful for my family, for a loving and forgiving Savior.  We truly are blessed.

Turkey Making with the Monson crew

Mom Monson came down to help with Quin's kids a few days and then go to Thanksgiving with the Heidi and Paiges at new finance's families place.  While she was down she wanted to make us her Thanksgiving breakfast Turkeys that we always make when we are on the Monson side.  Dean had to work and Shaylee had basketball practice so I took Addison and the boys down to hang out with the Family for a little while. Quin had to work and Dani had a facial but the rest of us were able to come.   

 

Transfers and 4 months

Preston didn't get a email sent off this week because of transfer's.  His companion who trained him was heading to a new area so he took the phone with him.  Preston is staying in the same area and will have a Brazilian as a companion. Elder Domeguiz. Preston spent P day sending his trainer off and hanging and having a sleepover with the District leader.  Since both their companions transfered.  Tuesday evening preston's companion shows up without a phone so they have to send his back which takes another 2 days.  So they had to contact the old school way.  Taking notes and trying to remember names, places, and times.  He was excited to get their phone Thursday evening.  He was able to call us for about an 1hour before his bed to wish us a Happy Thanksgiving.
