First Few days of Summer.

The girls both got jobs this summer.  Shaylee at Subway in Zion, and Addison at the new Jimmy Johns in Hurricane.  So the boys and I had a couple days were we were alone.  We went to the library, read, played games, went to parks, out to eat, and they even worked out with me.  I  sure do love these lazy days of summer and the time I  get to spend with my kids.

 

Last Days of 4th grade

I've enjoyed being a room mom to Breckens 4th grade class this year.  I have loved getting to know all his classmates and friends better.  I  was in charge of a game at water day on the last day so we played water 9 square.  The kids all LOVED it and didn't want to leave. We also made ovens out of boxes to make s'mores a few days before.  I  cant believe this school year is over.  So many great memories and the best 4th grade teachers ever.  Good thing they are both moving up to 5th grade and we get to have them again.

Kindergarten Program and Dance Review

We had a busy night on Thursday of this week.  Landon had his last day and end of year program for kindergarten.  They make their little flag shirts every year and I  love seeing them and how they decorated them.  Landon was super proud of his shirt and excited to sing and dance to his songs.  He did so good singing loud and we loved watching him.  He would sing so loud and hard that sometimes his face would turned red.  Grandma Grandpa and Stephanie came and watched him and he did a great job and loved having us there.  At one point they turned on the lights and the kids could see us in the audience.  Landon got so excited and waved and yelled when he saw us. We had Shaylee leave a little early to get a sets for Addison's dance recital that was that night too.  She started right as ours ended so we hurried over to the Fine Arts building to watch her next.  She has really loved dancing this last year.  She started taking a Social dance class in school and loved it.  She also signed up for stirland dance company with her friends and loved that class. She works hard at it and it shows.  She has a big smile as she performs. We bought her some flowers for her final dance recital and got a picture with all her fans.  Sure do love her and Landon and am proud of all their hard work to make their programs so good.
