Memorial Day

Our girls were gone to FSYfor the week we sent them off early memorial day (Monday) morning.  They were going to Utah tech's campus and Addison didn't know her roommate so I was hoping she would have a good time.  The rest of us got up and headed over to the graves.  We put flowers on Grandpa and Grandma Eves and then walked around to look at all the rest of our relatives.  After that we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa Eves house.  Even though they were gone up to bearlake Amy and Steph were home so we all met over there to have a BBQ and Swim for the afternoon.  We met up with Lisa and Devins family and had a great time being with each other. We talk with Preston for his P day and learned he had been transered for his last time and his last area as zone leader.  He is thriving and so sad to leave the area they are in as they had a hand full of baptisms coming up and some wonderful families they were teaching as well as his bishop and ward there.  He loved them all.   That evening we went and played pickleball together with aunt Stephanie and had a great time.  Amy watched from the car so Stephanie could play with us and she lasted about an hour.  We stayed for about 2 hours and played with the boys.  They are getting better.   We than watched a movie together and went on a walk to see the baby goats.  They are the cutest and we cant get enough of them.

Subject: The Last Dance/ Farewell Tour



 Well,

     This is officially my last transfer in the mission. Don't really know how I feel honestly. It doesn't feel like it, and it doesn't feel real. I'm always the worst when things are coming to an end. Pretty dang sad honestly. I love my mission. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. But anyways, I still got a whole month left so we're gonna kick some butt and enjoy every last minute....

    I actually didn't even give an update last transfer. I left Ità. Got sent to do a whitewash in Ka'aguy Rory with Elder Richards from Ohio. Dude's a stud. He was in the air force for a bit and is going back to be a pilot so it was basically like we were making a Top Gun movie the whole transfer and I was the star. (Love that movie) .. The area was a grind we worked our butts off. We were able to help Alejandro and Viviana be baptized and help them enter on the covenant path. I love that area. It's crazy to see how the works through such an imperfect person like me. Literally incredible.

    Anyways. Last Thursday they called us and I was banking on staying... I left. I got sent to Las Lomitas with Elder Hughes. The dude is a 6'5, 205 pound All-American blonde blue eyed woman slayer and is lit as freak. He's helping me with a lot of things like getting ripped. We're getting me ready .. I'm excited it'll be fun

First day of Summer

First day of summer we taught Brecken how to mow the lawn since his splint came off that day.  We also tried out Brekkens bubble blower adn loved it.  I'm so excited for no homework and no schedules and all the get up and go go go.  Here comes summer and we are all ready!

 

Shaylee's High School Graduation 2024

We woke up bright and early to get good seat for graduation.  They opened the gate at 7:00 and were were their.  It was already crazy, but we found a spot on the grass for all our chairs and blankets.  It was actually a really pleasant morning and while the sun wasn't out a little chilly even.  Which I  would take over sweating to death. lol.  Shaylee graduated with honors and had a great senior year.  She worked hard in everything she did and we have loved watching her grow and get out of her comfort zone.  She is a beautiful girl inside and out and it has been a joy watching her grow and learn throughout her life.  We are so proud to be her parents and know she will succeed at anything she chooses to do in life.  She heads up to BYU this fall with Preston and is really excited and scared to start real life she said.  Grandpa and Grandma Eves came as well as aunt Stephanie.  The cemeonly went fairly fast and we were home and done with pictures by 9:30 I  do believe.  When Shaylee got home she opened her gifts and cards she had been given and we celebrated her.  She wanted to go to Red Lobster for her graduation lunch and then went over to a friends to celebrate with her friends.  Dean and I  were supposed to help with grad night but they ended up not needing us so I  didn't get any pictures of that, but she said it was fun, but a little to long. lol. We sure do love her.
