He's turning 22!!

Preston turned 22 on Dec 30th.  Preston kept the tradition alive and woke up by 7:00 so that dad could see him open his presents before he headed to work.  lol.  Dean got Preston a Lebron James doll and was so excited to give it to him.  Preston got a good kick out of it.  He got a new Mac computer he has been needing for school. Preston wanted Mcdonald's Mcgriddles for breakfast so we ran and got him some breakfast and Shaylee called and talked to us for the morning, and to wish Preston Happy Birthday!! Preston then got ready to head to Vegas with his Birthday twin (Britton Bringhurst).  They've been going to Vegas together for their birthday when they are home for a few years.  They went shopping and ate lunch together.  We then meet Preston down in St. George for his birthday dinner.  He chose Red Lobster and told the boys they were invited to come as well. They were really excited to join us.  After dinner Preston met up with his friends at Tava to play pickleball, hot tub and watch some football.  He had a great birthday adn is working so hard at school.  He is such a easy going kid and is always trying to do the best he can.  He is wanting to go into the medical field and he took a phlebotomy class and took the test and passed he also did another medical class he would need (these were both outside of his BYU schooling).  He was able to get an interview at a medical facility in SLC and a week later they told him he got the job so he is super stoked to have his foot in the door with medical.  I  know it will be a little tricky with school and his job.  Especially with it being up in SLC, but I  know he will be able to balance it out and it will all work out.  Sure do love him and we are all so blessed to have him in our lives and family. 

 

Family Pickleball day

Of course Landon had to try out his new pickleball paddles he got from the white elephant gift exchange. It was an okay day.  A little cold for me so I  watched for awhile and then went to the truck and watched from there.  Brecken and Preston were on a team and Landon and dad were on a team.  They played best out of 3 games.  The little boys get so mad at each other and are still working on their sportsmanship.  Dean and Preston are so patient with the boys, but the littles are also really good for their age.   

 

Christmas Day 2025

Christmas morning came bright and early.  We heard the boys around 6:30, but made then wait until 7:00 before we let them come down.  Preston and Addison were good sports and woke up so the boys could open up their christmas.  Brecken asked Santa for a Minky Blanket and remote control car.  Landon also asked for a minky blanket and remote control car.  Addison asked for a Taylor swift album and a apple watch since she lost hers.  Preston asked for an apple watch as well since his was taken as well.  Geez.  Shaylee wanted a blanket and warm sweats.  It was fun watching her open one of the packages we sent her.  I  had wrapped her gifts in that package so she had something to open.  She got a few of her favorite treats she couldn't get up in Canada.  She was so grateful and excited about all the little things that she could use.  She had the mission president and his wife over for breakfast that morning and so she was busy doing that the first part.  We talked to her for awhile and then she had a lunch with some members and we had to head to grandma and grandpas for lunch (leftovers) and gifts exchange for them.  We stayed over there and hung out for most of the afternoon.  When we got home the younger boys had started to put all their stuff away, Addison had went back to her apt and Preston was going through all of his stuff and trying on clothes and shoes to make sure we didn't have no returns.  Honestly we had most of Christmas wrapping and boxes cleaned up by the evening and the living room put back together.  We started another puzzle and watched avatar the first one since none of the boys had seen it.  I  think Preston was the only one who stuck with it out of the boys.
