Week 3 of Club ball for Landon

Hurricane Hustle had back to back games today.  Landon had great games for both.  The teams won their first game by a basket.  Their second game they won by a bit more. The team is getting better each time I  watch them.  Landon had some great looks at the basket and shots.  He had some great passes and assists.

No school or work MLK Day

We decided to hit up the stairs in the morning and talked teh parents into it as well.  They had already done a work out so they went down and up to see if what they thought.  They had never been before and they thought it was gorgeous and a fun little challenge. After the stairs we went to Hobby Lobby.  We were waiting for Addison so she could go play pickleball with us.  Grandma had not been to Hobby lobby so we walked all the aisles with her.  After Hobby lobby we picked up Jimmy Johns and went to meet Addison and Emily at the pickleball courts. We had some fun games with the boys.  It was Brecken and me against Landon and dad while Addison and Emily ate.  After pickleball we headed home so we could talk to Shaylee and I  could get some laundry done.  Dad and the boys went out golfing.  It was a little to cold and windy for my liking so I  stayed back and talked with Shaylee.  It was a fun day and I  love spending it with my family.

SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
This week we were talking about Noah's ark. Because I've been reading in Genesis lately its something ive been thinking about. I was talking to a member and he mentioned something that I hadn't thought about before. He said "there was no steering wheel, the only way the ark got to where it needed to be was with gods direction. The ark itself wasnt meant to be navigated- only to stay afloat. Than I say a quote this week that went with that exact thing. It said "sometimes we try to steer what god has already promised to carry"
Just like noah, we are passengers, and god is the captain. God is always in control. He has our back! He helps us overcome the waves of life. As we ride in his ark we know all will be well in the end.

I love and miss you all!
