Preston's team made it up to State for his senior year. Dean took it off and went up as well as my parents. Haldeen came up for the last day. Preston had a great first round, best he has played up at state. Preston wasn't to happy with the score and was hoping in the 70's, but he couldn't complain to much as he didn't really have any bad holes. I watched from home online on his scorecard. I was a nervous wreck for him. The weather was supposed to be rainy but it held off for these boys the first day and ended up really nice. He ended the first day tied for 27th out of 150 players. His team was in 7th. going into the final round. Second day was a little wetter and colder but again the rain held off for the most part. It was tough to watch from my phone, but the second day just wasn't' the teams day. Everyone struggled, and we ended up finishing in 6th I do believe. It was a tough all around day with a consistent boogie play most of the day for Preston. He had a great attitude though and kept it together and we've never been more proud of him then at this tournament. We have loved watching him grow and learn to love the game of golf, and I cant believe it's his last high school season. Wow!
