We woke up on our last full day in Maui knowing we wanted to go to beaches all day. We packed everything up and headed out. We tried a new beach called Big Beach. It was a big beautiful beach, but no good waves for boogie boarding which the kids were dying to do. We played there for most the morning though having sandcastle building contests, sea shell hunting, and family football games. Landon was a good playmaker, and made it so our team won. which consisted of Dean, me, and the little boys. Preston, Shaylee, and Addison were on the other team. The weather was beautiful that day and we didn't want to leave, but everyone was getting hungry and we wanted to try a fish taco food truck. We got fish and shrimp tacos. The kids said they were amazing. After lunch we went to another beach by this time the wind started to pick up and if you were on the beach you were getting pelted with sand. But the waves were better for boogie boarding and so we spent a lot of time there. Landon tried to get in the fetal position to stop the sand from pelting him but I don't think it worked. We had a blast and ended up going home so everyone could shower and get dressed up for some pictures on the beach at sunset. The little boys were done and didn't want to go back to the beach and I was trying to clean and pack for our flight so I had dad take the older kids down to the beach and pick them up some dinner as well.
