Since I am the room mom for Breckens Chinese class I got to help quite a bit with all the celebrations and parties. First off she wanted to paint shirts for the kids costumes for the Chinese program. I couldn't get any helpers to come in so I enlisted Shaylees help and we busted out 2 classes of painted shirts. Once we got it down it went fairly fast. Each kid of course wanted their own thing and a different color. lol. After painting shirts the next day we made dumplings. It was a lot of work to bring and make the filling, and make the dough get all the supplies for them to do it at school and to cook them their but the kids seemed to enjoy it. I thought they tasted disgusting. lol. but the kids had fun doing it. Monday I was able to go watch Brecken and the class proform so Chinese songs and things. It's fun to see him growing and learning chinese. I love his teachers this year as well.
