He is in Guarambare

Preston is loving the Guarambare area.  His companion Elder Carey is from the U.S. too.  He is really shy, but reminds Preston of his good friend Trey Larsen back home.  A big teddy bear is what he said.  They both are really tall and love basketball and golf.  This area is city, then all the sudden your in farm fields for miles.  He said this area is a lot bigger and they have to take buses to certain areas and stay the day teaching over there.  Where as his other area they could get to it all in a day.  He also loves the young people in this area.  They really want to help the work along and are willing to help the Elders quite a bit.  His apartment is a lot better than his last one as well.  He said it was the Sisters before it became the Elders so it's a lot nicer than the Elders are used too.  One bathroom the shower is right by the toilet and it doesn't get hot water.  The other bathroom does though.  They are just excited to have 2 bathrooms.  Preston is most excited to not have a leaky roof.  Especially over his bed.  Whenever it rained (which was a lot) his bed would be so wet and it would drip all over him.  The room was so small there was nowhere to move the bed so it wouldn't get wet.  He loves his nice dry new bed. The summer is still hot and humid and they are in the thick of it right now.  He got our Christmas package and is enjoying the food out of it the most.  I  wish I  could send more packages but the price just isn't worth it.  He said it was a little adjustment just like coming out into the field this transfer being his first, but he is adjusting well and loves it.
