Preston came home on July 3rd which was a fast sunday. Our ward then had 4 missionaries return home and 2 farwells. So the second sunday preston was home his friends Payton and Jenna reported on their missions they did a great job. Preston was supposed to report this Sunday but they moved his to the next week. (which was a blessing we didn't know we needed with Amy passing that same week it gave us some time.) So Preston had to wait tell the 3rd sunday to speak. He spoke with another friend and returned missionary Nathan Parker, and they both shared that with a departing missionary Elder Slack. So it was a busy packed sacrament meeting. Each Elder did a great job and I wish they all had more time to speak and tell us about their experiences, but it was a wonderful meeting and the spirit was felt. We had family come from up North so we hurried home to feed them and get them off on the road. We did sliders, pasta salads, fruit veggie trays and cake for dessert. Shaylee set up a table of some of Prestons souvenirs scriptures and things he had from his mission at the front of the house so it was fun to look at that. It was wonderful to visit with family especially on the Monson side Syd, Joe, Carlee, and her husband as well as Heidi Hyrum, and grandma came from up north and then all our southern utah family. We are so blessed with so many loved ones who support our family. We love them all and this gospel and enjoyed hearing how Preston grew and gained a strong testimony of our Saviors church. He talked about a few trials he had personally that lead to his growth and own conversion.
