Monday morning the Wheelers still weren't feeling good so we went exploring to Tulum. We went to the ruins. Its a national park so we had to pay to get in and walk around, but it was fun to learn more about them, and it was so beautiful right up against the cliff that drops down into the ocean. We spent a couple hours looking at all the ruins and looking for all the iguanas. They were everywhere. After Tulum we headed out to some Cenotes and get a lunch. We hit up a taco buffet at the cenotes before we went out. Again we were all starving and the tacos were good overall we then headed out on a tour of 4 different cenotes. The first one was a really small cave. Preston almost had to lay on his back in the water so his head wouldn't hit the ceiling. The water was extra cold but the water was crystal clear and so beautiful. The next cenote was the jumping cliffs. The kids favorite probably. We all jumped off the highest one and had fun playing in the water. The next cenote was a longer river trail then we headed to another cave. This one was the coldest since it doesn't see any sun. It was a little longer then the first and again the water was so blue and beautiful. We left the cenotes around 5:00 and headed down to do some shopping at some flea markets. We tried to be fast so we wouldn't be out past dark but it took awhile for the kids to find anything they liked and parking wasn't going in our favor. We did find almost everything the kids wanted at great prices. The kids are bargainers. (love it). We then grabbed authentic street tacos on our way home. The meat is cooking on the side of the road and everything. I didn't eat any, but everyone said they were the best tacos they had while down there. They all loved them. We then let the kids swim one last time since we would be leaving the next day.
