Christmas Sunday/ Annual GingerBread House Contest

Well Christmas Sunday was on December 22nd.  Church was just an hour with a Christmas program for that hour.  I  made all the family dress up in Christmas colors.  Preston has a matching tie like the boys, but he left it up at BYU because he didn't get the memo to bring it.  So, I  wore a green skirt to match his green tie.  We waited tell all the kids were home to do our Annual Gingerbread house contest.   Sunday I  hosted everyone.  The kids all get so excited and some have plans and pictures researched on what they are going to do.  Every year just keeps getting better and better.  I  love it.  The teams stay pretty consistent each year.  We were missing quite a few people this year so that was sad.  Preston filled in for Uncle Matt who usually helps the littles (Landon, and Laikers), We had Steph and Shaylee, Grandma and Grandpa, Lisa and Devin, Dean and Brecken, Jessica and Tynlee, Kendyll and Addison, and I  think that was it this year.  People came to win and I love the creativity this year.  We had a two story house, a BYU Utah rival house, snowman houses, classic houses and winter wonderland houses.  I  loved them all.  I  always have to judge and can never choose a winner so I  always make up reasons why each won.  lol.  After all the judging we cleaned up and watched Christmas Vacation. Such a classic and so fun to watch with everyone.
