Landon Christmas party and Christmas program

I  am the room mom for Landon's 2nd grade class.  We had our Christmas party Thursday the 19th.  We had 6 stations.  We had a reindeer toss game a pin the heart on the grinch game, watercolor snowman, make your own ornament station, a bowling game, and a cookie making station. The kids all seemed to love it and I  love being able to be with Landon and meet all the kids in his class.  The second grade also had a Christmas program that evening.  Landon had a couple speaking parts he was excited about and loved telling us about all the songs he was learning.  They had done the program earlier in the day for the school and so I  asked Landon where he was setting so I could get a good spot to see him.  He told us the very back row far right.  first off he is one of the smallest kids in his grade and they have him on the back row? We got there and he was sitting where he said he would, and then all the sudden the teacher came in and started to move all the kids.  Next thing we know London is on the opposite side of the lunchroom behind some tall kids and we can barely see him.  It all worked out okay though.  He turned as much as he could toward us and sang so loud and did the actions to all the songs.  He loves it.  It was about a 40 minute program so we had time to go get Blizzards before dad had to go into work.   His favorite song he would sing to us all the time was "6 white boomers". It's about kangaroos pulling santa's sleigh in the blazing sun down in Australia.  He loved that they are in summer time during Christmas down there. He couldn't wrap his little brain around that one.
