4th of July

The 4th was kind of low key this year.  We had a missionary who had lessons, and classes all day so we wanted to be there to support her, but also do somethings for the 4th.  We woke up early while Shaylee was in her classes and we went to the parade.  The boys caught all the candy 2 full bags to be exact.  It was actually not that bad of a day and we were not sweating our backsides off.  After the parade we waited tell Shaylee had a break and headed down to Lisa's for a 4th of july bbq and swim party.  Shaylee still had classes so we left her inside in the air conditioning to get to work while we all hung out outside.  I'm sure she wasn't feeling left out at all (sarcastic voice right there).  We played corn hole, ate all the yummy food, and of course swam.  The water was a tad warm because hello St. George, but we all hung out in it and played.  After about 4 hours Shaylee had another break so we were able to drive home and get ready for the next lesson.  We were all kind of tired from the pool, but the boys wanted to light some fireworks so Preston and Dean took the boys over to 3 falls to light off and watch some fireworks.  Shaylee didn't feel up for fireworks and wanted to go to bed so I stayed home with her to be her companion.  Addison went with friends to the fireworks.  It was a chill day with family, but we did miss the centerville parade.
