PROVO MTC HERE WE COME

July 9th we woke up bright and early to get on the road before 8:00.  Shaylee had Aunt Steph come, Ana, ad Chance to see her off.  She had a hard time saying goodbye 2 years is a long time.  They will all do awesome out in the mission field though.  The ride up to Provo was long, and quiet everyone knew what was coming and we were all a little sad.  Shaylee chose to eat at Chilis before she headed into the MTC so we stopped and had lunch together.  We then found a place to pull off across the street from the MTC and take some pictures.  After we got our pictures it was time to pull into the MTC for our assigned time slot.  The put a sticker on our car that said Sis. and they had us pull into an empty parking lot and get her out with her luggage.  They took a picture for us and told us to say a quick goodbye.  I was trying to be brave for Shaylee but some tears slipped out.  We are all going to miss her so much.  She is such a wonderful daughter, sister, and friend.  On the way home she started messaging me from her new phone to help her set up her new messenger from her old phone to her new one so that was nice to hear from her so quick.  When we pulled in at home though I  couldn't stop crying.  Our house felt so quiet and empty and it was so hard for me.  I  think it was harder this second time because it's my girl, and the second one just seems harder because you've done this before and you know what it was like the first time.  She will do so good though and the people of Edmonton Canada are getting a big piece of our hearts for the next 18 months.
