A Soccer game and a Wedding.

This last Saturday we had our Cousin Brookes Wedding up in Filmore and Landon had a Club soccer game.  We were able to do both.  His soccer game was around 11:30.  We just packed out church clothes with us.  We were playing a ignite team who is a good club and we new they would give us a good game.  They had great spacing and were very disciplined on the field.  We still have boys who don't know where to go and how to stay in their area.  They scored about half way in.  So at half they were up 1-0.  Then second half we came out and played better had a bunch more shots on goal, but so did they. Our goalies did great.  We ended up getting a goal with about a minute left in the game.  1-1.  We were all so excited.  We just had to hold them off. I  thought the ref should be blowing the whistle any second but they still got a shot off and our goalie blocked it but hit it out.  They got a corner kick.  With no seconds left they kicked it and it bounced off our goalies chest and into the goal.  The ref blew the whistle and we lost 2-1.  It was a good game and gave our boys a good run for their money.  It was a good game with lots to learn from.  After the game we ran into the gas station right by the soccer fields and changed into our wedding clothes and hit the road.  We stopped at Jimmy Johns and got a sandwich to eat on the way up.  We arrived with 10 minutes to spare.  The wedding of our cousin Brooke and her husband Carson was beautiful.  The weather was so nice up there and it was fun to see most of the family.  It is Syd and Joes Second daughter.  We stayed and ate dinner of Tacos from the food truck.  She looked beautiful in her dress which sparkled in the sunlight and I'm mad I  missed getting a picture with her, but it was a beautiful evening and the drive home went pretty good too.
