Monson Family Trip (day 4)!!!

The Beach
(Day 4)
On day 4 we checked out of our hotel in Disneyland to head to the Beach, and San Diego (for Sea World).  We were pretty excited to go to the beach.  It was a beautiful day, and we just went to Huntington beach.  The kids scream for a good hour every time the water would touch them.  They had a great time playing both in the water and in the sand.  I enjoyed putting my feet in and watching all the excitement, just like all the other women in the group.    We love the beach and wish we could have stayed there all day, but new that fun things awaited us at the resort we would be staying at the rest of the trip. So off we headed to find our new home for the next few days.

 Paradise Point
(Day 4)
After we played at the Beach all afternoon.  We headed off to find our new place to stay "Paradise Point Resort."  We were so excited to stay here and couldn't wait to go exploring.  As you turn into this resort.  You drive down this beautiful road.  Trees lined all the sides with pretty flowers, and just as we went under one of the tree's a huge branch decides to fall off onto our car.  It hit pretty hard, but over all not to much harm was done.  We did laugh later though.  What are the odds at the exact moment the branch decided to break off.  There were no cars in front of us of behind us.  Oh well.  We then got straight into our swimming suits and headed to one of the six pools on the resort.  After that we got ready for our fun Hot Dog roasting Dinner on the beach right by our rooms.  That was sure a lot of fun.  Grandma went to so much trouble...she made each family a color coated bag to match these roasting sticks she gave each family.  Such a great idea.  Thank you grandma and grandpa we love them.  After hot dogs the kids played on the beach while the adult broke out the smore's.  The kids were to busy playing in the sand to want to take time for smore's so we ate them.  But when it was time to go back to our rooms...all the kids complained that they didn't get smore's.
We then got ready for bed to enjoy our next day at Sea World.  (Never a dull moment on this trip).

Father's

We have been blessed...(our little family) to know some great men in our lives.  We have wonderful grandparents.  Who raised such great dad's.  I love my father in law, he is such an amazing man.  I'm so glad I have a husband who was raised and taught by this man.  He shows unconditional love, and is always willing to help any of his family at the drop of a hat. When we are around him we know we are loved. I'm so glad my kids have such a great Grandpa to look up to.  Thanks for raising such a wonderful son.

Next is my father.  I love  him with my whole heart.  He is an amazing man, father, and grandfather.  I'm so blessed that my kids get to be raised so close to this wonderful man, and just feel the love that radiates from him.  He will never cease to amaze me.

Last but not least.  The love of my life.  I'm glad I got such a great guy....Heavenly Father knew what he was doing when he sent you my way.  You are such an amazing Husband and Father.  The kids adore you, and they light up every time you enter a room.  You are such an example, and we admire and love you so much.  So Happy Father's day to the men in our lives.  WE LOVE YOU!!!

Monson Family Trip!! Day 3!!

Disneyland
 (Day 3)
We were dragging our third and final day in Disneyland.  We were up and ready when the park opened.  We designated today as the hit all your favorite rides day.  So we fast passed space Mountain, ran over to Fantasy land, and did many of their rides.  Ran to toon town to get a picture with Minnie Mouse, We then did a few others. Then headed over to California Adventure park for family pictures, and to play over there the rest of the day.  We had to do Tower of Terror for Addison again (her favorite).  Shaylee loved California Screamin so we did that one.  Preston had a few favorites, but since the girls took two of his he choose, Soarin over California, and Star Tours.   We ended the day around 5:30, we were beat.  We laid around our hotel awhile, then went out to dinner, and came home and went to bed.  We had so much fun we could barely walk out of the park that night.  Thought we might have to carry the kids, but I knew Dean, and I were to exhausted to do that as well.  Love this place and hope we make it back there soon.

Monson Family Trip (Day 2)

Disneyland
(Day 2)

We were up bright and early the next morning.  We had an early entry into the park...(along with everyone else it seemed like) so we got in at 7:00 instead of 8:00.   We ran into Syd and Joe's family and did the morning rides with them. We ran straight for fast passes and Space Mountain.  I think Addison was a little scared at first because she couldn't see where she was going, but in the end I think she liked it.
After space mountain we went on a few more rides in tomorrow land until the rest of the park opened up.  Around 10:00 we headed over to splash mountain, where there was no wait at all.  It was a sunny day, and no one ended up getting to soaked, so we went on that ride like 3 times in a row, because there wasn't a line.  Next we stayed in frontier land and did some more rides.

After frontier land.  The men ran off to fast pass a ride.  While us women stayed in line for Nemo.  That ride is pretty long for a lot of nothing.  Oh well.  I think we hit Indiana Jones before lunch, Addison was to small for that ride so I stayed out with her both times.  She doesn't mind at all and is such a good sport.  I think there was only 2 rides she couldn't go on. We did a lunch and then headed over to California Adventure to start on the rides over that way.

We hit up the Bug life area, and went on most of the rides in there. We also did Tower of Terror, California Scream in, and Soar'in over California.  Then we went amd did dinner, and headed back for the World of Color to save some good seats.  I think the kids were starting to get tired this day.  Shaylee and Addison kept falling asleep during the World of Color show.
