Preston had his first week in Mexico MTC. He was so excited to leave behind home MTC and head out to Mexico. He loves his distract and gets a long great with his companion Elder Jorgenson. He is also from Utah. Preston sent us home a email so I thought I would put it on here if I can. We get to speak with him on his Pday in the MTC which is Wednesday for him. It was good seeing his face and hearing how he was doing. I love his calls. Okay, here is his first email.
Fist Week Down at the MMTC

Hey everyone! Well, I hope everyone! Welcome to Elder Monson's email list where we're going to party it up once a week with things that happened to me during the week! This week was awesome. The days seem to last forever and the weeks in a blink of an eye. The campus is so cool here in Mexico I love it. Full of spiritual experiences. I had a couple rough experiences too but was able to receive a blessing from my awesome companion and everything was smooth from there. My spanish kind of sucks. But I'm getting better. What's even funnier is that I got selected as the language leader for my district, so they are supposed to come to me if they don't know spanish. I don't know who's idea it was to assign me in that position, but they really screwed over my whole district. I'm kind of a celebrity over here at the MTC and it kind of reminds me of Hurricane in that way. Everywhere I go people ask me if I'm related to Thomas S. Monson which I immediately tell them yes, and then they ask for a picture. The spirit here is honestly incredible and I love it so far. The spanish can get frustrating but I feel progress too. I honestly was getting to where I was feeling good about my spanish, until I went to the temple today, and realized my spanish is still horrible and I'm dillusional. ALSO, THE FOOD HERE IS THE WORST! For any of you who have been told Mexico MTC has the best food, they are liars. I'm convinced they make bad food on purpose so that we all have to go to the store and buy stuff. But I don't know that's just a rumor. Anyways, I love you all! And thank you so much for the prayers I really appreciate it! -everyones favorite.. Elder Monson

.. here's some pics of the week.. this picture of the Red Sea in the Thomas S. Monson building is my favorite. Figured I'd show you all. And the temple is so stunning. Although my spanish is horrible, I could still recognize the spirit and had an amazing experience. Oh! And they made me get a haircut. So rest in peace. Love you all, until next week!
