Hey guys! Preston here. Honestly I don't have much, mtc stays the same nothing new really happens. My spanish is not good. This food is not good which makes it really hard for me to bulk up and gain muscle. But with these challenges there are also many good things I have going on. I still have my good looks, my eyes are two different colors and my district and teachers say how cool they are all the time which is good because I feel I've always struggled with self confidence so it's good they're bringing me up. Uhm yeah I'm ready for Paraguay. I know my spanish isn't but I don't think it's going to improve much here. I'm a really good hacky sack player and probably the best overall at all the sports we play. I would say I'm top 3 in my district of every single sport and just dominate overall. Some might even say I'm just simply the best but my self confidence isn't to the point where I can confidently admit that yet. Anyways, as far as spiritual stuff, I spend most my time studying spanish. But I had such an amazing devotional last night. He said some things that hit home. He said that his mission sucked. He was about to pull the rip cord and head home. But he prayed one more time about it. And he got a feeling that told him. Are you here for yourself or are you here for me? He then decided that his heart was the lords, and he was there for him. That night he dreamt in spanish and spoke fluently and his mission was one of the best experiences ever. I will be blessed and become better due to my mission. But I'm serving for that purpose I'm going to fail and it will suck. I need to do it to serve my lord and savior Jesus christ. Another thing he said is. Don't teach the lords doctorine. Make the lords doctorine yours, and go teach your doctorine. I will touch so many more people if it's my doctorine. When it says "the father and I are one".. I need to say "the savior and I are one".. not because I'm perfect.. cause we all know nobody is. But because our hearts are in the same place and we have the same doctorine. That hit me the hardest. Anyways, Elder Monson is doing okay. The español  could get better, but my testimony is continuing to grow by the second. I invite you all to pray with intent. You don't have to know everything, I definitely don't. Things don't have to make sense, God created everything, if he wants someone to part the Red seas and they have enough faith, then they will. He looks at logic and laughs because he is all knowing and all doing. Notable scriptures for the week 2 Nephi 31. Until next week!
