Christmas Eve part #1

Why is this the best day of the year?  Honestly we all look forward to this day over Christmas.  We made some Christmas candy the day before.  I tried making divinity for the first time.  It turned out so good.  We also made some more fudge.  The next morning we met everyone at Bishops cafe for breakfast.  They were so good and fast about getting our order and food in.  We sat at the Monson table and had a blast talking to everyone. Marie and Eric's family got a puppy from one of Dani's liters.  So of course my kids had to go off about how we need one too.  I  love me a good little puppy that I don't have to clean up after and take care of.  Just play a little bit with. lol.  The little kids were pretty excited they had their own table to themselves for breakfast they felt pretty big ordering and taking care of things on their table. After bishops we hurried over to Fiesta Fun to do some bowling.  We got into 5 teams of 6 and all had a blast.  Our team consisted of Dean and I  and then I  think Marie allie and sadie.  I  of course did not do so well, but I  did beat Marie.  So that counts for something I guess.  The boys had great games and both got some of their personal best scores that day.  Addison played with bumper pads and still got last place in her group.   Preston had a good game he was over with quin and dani lisa and Devin so I  didn't happen to catch his score.  Grandpa and Grandma bowled and Grandpa got a turkey on the last frame so that was fun for all of us to watch.  We got some pictures and said goodbye to our Monson side and then headed out to the mall.  We have wanted to do Light the World giving machines that were by us this year.  We stopped in and each chose something we wanted to give.  Brecken chose a pantry supply of mac and cheese. (his personal favorite).  Landon also did food he chose 30 meals for families around here.  Preston chose stock a pantry, Dean got diapers and wipes and I chose new shoes and clothes for kids in need.  The boys thought this was super cool and would love to do it next year as well.  We then headed home to get ready for Christmas 'Eves' dinner/games.  I  was able to order Chick fil a for Shayless district for Christmas Eve day since they would be getting together for the afternoon.  Shaylee said they got everything but the lady said my payment didn't go through, but she let shaylee take the food anyway and said we could clear it up with them in a couple days.  That was truly a blessing for Shaylee. Luckily I  was able to get a hold of them but my card wouldn't work so we had to put money on shaylees card and she had to go in and take care of it.  I  sure do love and miss her, but we are all feeling the blessings of her serving the lord right now.
