Brecken had been wanting to earn some money so he could eat out on friday's with his friends. Well I had been thinking about my trees in my backyard and how they are so dirty/messy. They literally have like 5 different things fall off them year around. Well I had been seeing this banana leafs as we like to call them already falling from the trees and there were a lot, but still a bunch on the trees. I thought I would get a head start on fall cleaning and have him start early so there wouldn't be so many we have to take care of when we rake up leaves. Well I told him I would give him 10 cents for each one he picked up. I thought he would get bored with it and wouldn't pick up more then 200 at the most. Well, the boy proved me wrong that's for sure. He made some good money that day and put them in piles of 10 so he could be sure to not lose count. He had bags and bags filled with them. He worked hard and I will now be paying for his friday lunches for the rest of the school year to wake up for what I owe him. I will not be doing this again. I learned my lesson. Lump some all the way.
