We signed up for the 3v3 soccer Summer games in cedar city. We had Thad, Benson, Barrett, Miles and Landon. Our first game was Friday morning and we had to leave early to go to the pe center to check in our team. We ran into a big wreck that took us about 2 hours to get through. We barely made it with no time to spare. We told our team and some were able to take back roads before they got to the wreck, but we were down a player for the first game, and one who was playing wasn't feeling really well, it was hot for cedar, and with only 1 sub the boys were tired, but they were down 5-0 at half and came back 7-5 against this team. It took the boys a little bit to get the hang of 3v3 soccer, but once it clicked they looked so much better. For our next game we ended up winning 11-1. That was a little better for the boys and built up some confidence for them to go against their next team. We played our last game and won 8-2 I do believe. We played 3 games that first day and the boys were all tired and sore, but excited for the next day. They would be going into saturday in 2nd place. We played the team we played for our last game first and pulled out the win but it was closer then the night before. 8-4 I think was the ending score. Which then made it so we were playing the first team who beat us for the gold medal. The boys fought hard and we did get some cloud cover for a little bit for that game so it wasn't as hot, but we just couldn't get it together to win. It was 9-5 for them. We got Silver though and were proud of our boys for trying something new and playing as a team.
