Lisa called and let me know that Fries market had bushels of tomatoes and since this season's tomato crops didn't do great they probably wouldn't be getting any more in. I had her pick me up a bushel and she got a bushel and we thought between the two of us we could make enough for mom as well. I enlisted the help of Brecken and Landon. Our chopper we use to chop everything up into little pieces broke so we had to do it by hand, but the boys did great and we were able to bust out the salsa fairly fast. We let it roast outside all day and then that night I brought it in to boil bath it. The boys were pretty excited to hear the lids pop and were even more excited to eat some chips and salsa for dinner that night.
