It was Shaylee's birthday day week out on the mission. She is aloud to call home on her birthday. We got to talk to her Sunday the 24th. Then again on Monday. Her companions made her day special. They took her out to eat. Decorated the house. Bought some 20 balloons and the ward members were awesome as ell to make sure shaylee felt loved. She got so much dessert and Cake. The one members got her a DQ ice cream cake. The only kind of dessert/cake she likes. She was pretty excited about that one. She had a great week of finding and teaching and I'll let her email sum it up.

WEATHER: 81-64 °F (as you can see the weather is pretty inconsistent)
Hi everyone!! Its been an amazing week here in Canada due to the fact that the weather is warming up a bit!!! Im not going to lie i was scared there for a bit when we were in the 40s but all is well and God has truly been hearing my prayers!!!
We went to a golfing range last P-day and it was actually so much fun!!! The weather was amazing and so was my swing so it was truly a win-win type of day!!!! Shout out to my brother preston for telling me to swing good because it worked
WE PUT AMY ON DATE!!!
Story time: We were finally able to meet up with our friend Amy this week! We have only taught Amy one other time before this which was my very first day in Canada. Than fast forward to this week we were able to meet with her again and its been a month now since ive been in canada. Amy is full of so much light and joy. She has some ADHD so its kinda hard to get alot said and actually teach a lesson. Buttttt on this particular day we were able to teach her the first half of the plan of salvation which was a miracle alone. The whole time we were teaching the spirit was so strong. I had this thought nagging at me the whole time telling me to put her on date. I ignored it because that was only our second time meeting with her and I was new and didn't know how my trainers would react. I look over at sister Ballard and she nods her head at me so I took that as a sign and blurted out some words and asked Amy if she would like to be baptized and she said "yes" so fast!!! We have a soft date right now but we are so excited!!! So everyone pray for Amy!!! (She hasn't came to church yet so maybe let's start there with the prayers 
)
) Our friends Amy and Rosy came to a relief society activity this week and that was such a tender mercie!!! We only stayed long enough for them to get there and then we had leave for a leadership meeting (my comps are STLs so I get to go with them to all of their higher up meetings and its kinda scary because I actually have to like participate and stuff) Anyways, our members were so great and they both said they loved it!!!!
On Saturday we ate at a really fancy mexican restaurant for my birthday!!! We know the CEO of the reaustrant (he's rosy's boyfriend- inactive member) and he found out it was my birthday and called in and had them sing to me and everything! I had no idea they were singing to me or i would have put a stop to it. If you know me you know I stopped eatting out for years on my birthday because I hated the reaustrants singing to me oh well, you live and you grow on the mission!!! Than on sunday we had a birthday brunch with some members and for dinner we had a birthday dinner so I was truly spoiled!!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I wasn't going to add this but its important so if you dont read anything else in this email read this! Somehow im on the Facebook team for my area. Which means I have three 15 minute blocks throughout the day where im supposed to post and message people online. If you know me you know that is everything i dislike and more. I dont like posting, I dont like taking photos, and I dont like messaging random people asking if I can share a scripture with them... however its the lord's work not mine so ill do it anyway. So if you would be so kind, any fun ways of posting would be greatly appreciated!!!
OTHER THINGS THAT HAPPENED:

○ A little boy in our ward got baptized and we got to go
○ We went to a farmers market 
○ MY SCLAP GOT SUNBURNT!!! 
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT:
I saw a quote this week that said "The story of jesus christ is the only story where a good guy dies for the villain" I think that quote is so powerful. How cool is it that because of his sacrificial act, the villain (us) is given a chance to become a good guy. Jesus Christ's willingness to take on the sins of the world, to suffer and die for humanity's mistakes, is a powerful reminder that NO ONE is beyond redemption... not even you or me.
Thank you all so much for the birthday messages this week!!!! My members, comps, and the messages from you made my day so amazing!!!! I was literally spoiled here and i cant believe im already 20!!!!!!!!!
