Here we go. Intermediate school 7th grade Brecken. He is the oldest in the school this year. He wasn't nervous because he went to this school last year he said. He also knew at least one person in each of his classes so that helped. He came home and told me he already can tell last years teachers were better. I said just from the first day? I told him he better give them another chance. He really likes his CCA teacher and Math teacher when I talked to him a couple days later. CCA stands for College Career Awareness class. It helps Brecken learn and figure out what he likes to do and what he is good at to help with future classes and jobs he might like. He meet up and rode to school with the neighbor hood boys and came home at 2:00 to tell me all about his first day of school. He was not looking forward to getting up at 6:45 again this school year. He has school at 7:40 so he wakes up then to get ready and we have family scripture study at 7:00 he eats breakfast and leaves by 7:20/7:30. Landon is going into 3rd grade. His teacher is Mrs. Henrie for English and Sir, Fabian for Spanish. He gets his spanish teacher again this year and He was excited for that. He has a few friends in his class with him and can't wait for first recess to play soccer with all his friends. We rode bikes to school the first day and he made me walk around the school to find his outside doors for his classrooms. His English teacher is on one side of the school and this Spanish teacher is on the other side of the school. Landon gets up at 7:00 as well for family scriptures and then has the morning to get ready eat breakfast clean his room and we usually do his homework/ reading in the morning since he has so much time to kill. It should be a fun year for these boys and I'm excited to have a front row seat to watch them grow.
