Peach Days/ Labor Day Weekend

Friday was the start of Labor Day weekend.  Brecken had plans with his buddies after school so we took Landon out golfing for the afternoon.  It was just Dean Landon and myself so they squeezed us in.  We ended up skipping hole 1 because the people in front of us were taking so long, and we just jumped in front of them for hole 2.  After hole 3 we pretty much played backed up against people in front of us but we never had to wait to long.  We had a great time and Landon even got a Par on hole #8.  He had some really good hits all day.  Hole 4 is his favorite and he had some great hits getting to the green in 3 but just couldn't get a putt in.  After golfing we ended up going over to Peach days.  It was so busy but I  wanted to get a box of Peaches and Landon wanted Zeppes.  We ended up staying and walking around and looking at everything for a while.  We went and saw the art displays and judging as then the train room.  We walked around all the booths.  I  was trying to find my creamed honey I  get there every year, but this year I  couldn't find it.  I did get my big box of peaches and they were delicious and Landon got his water weenie and Zeppes so he was happy.  After Peach days we headed back to the house and got some dinner.  Saturday morning was the peach days parade.  Justin and Katie were down and I  tried talking him into going to the parade, but they didn't make it.  I  did get Addison and Emily to come over from St. George.  Emily finally moved into an apt by Addison so that has been fun for them.  They came over and Lisa and her family came over.   I  woke up early and got seats in the shade so it made it extra nice.  The parade wasn't too long a little over an hour and it was really nice.  The kids got all sorts of treats shirt, frisbees, glasses popsicles and so much more.  Oh ya and Peaches.  That was the best hand out yet.  After the parade we all met up with Justin Katie, Jessica Sam and Stephanie to swim and hang out with them.  We stayed most of the afternoon over there letting the boys swim. We then came home to support our BYU football team at their season opener home game.  Preston was there and they destroyed the other team and he ended up leaving at half.   Sunday I invited everyone over for Sunday dinner.  Lisa and Dev couldn't make it but everyone else came over and we had a blast hanging out eating sunday dinner and playing all the games.  While Katie and Justin were here they had birthdays and the boys wanted to throw them a party with gifts and cake.  I had been fighting a cold all weekend so they did most all the work and it was so cute watching them get excited for Justin and katie to open their gifts they got them. (I  was bad at getting pictures during the weekend so I  don't have much of all the family together.) Monday we tried to meet up with Addison but she had plans already or work I  forget which one so we took the boys mini golfing, shopping and let them play in the arcade for some of the day it is still really weird to only have 2 boys at home for the most part but we had a great weekend
