Friday before school we got together with our cousins on both sides. Lisa Devin Tynlee and Laiklyn, and Dani with Mya and Noa. Everyone in our family came but Preston. He had to work that day. We went to a new resort here in Hurricane called Pecan Valley. They were having a back 2 school special that day so we hit them up. They have some bigger slides, a big fun kiddie area/ splash pad. Surf simulators, and a wave pool/lazy river. We had a blast all playing together. Right when we got there Landon found one of his best friends Miles there so he went off with him for the day. They had a blast hanging out together. Which worked out perfect for laike and mya. We did a duck race contest around the lazy river and the boys came in 4 and 7th. They gave prizes for 1-3 and last place, so they were close out of 60+ ducks. Addison and I did the surf simulator but we used the body boards instead of surf boards. I wiped out a bunch of times but it was still a lot of fun. Landon body boarded with his friend Miles a few times, Addison also surfed with Tynlee and did really good. Dean and Breck surfed a few times and did pretty good. We grabbed some Pizza there for the kids for lunch and hung out there for most of the day. We did races down the big slides as well as some smaller slides in the kiddie area. That was fun. The blue slide was definitely faster out of the big slides. We were all tired by the time we pulled out around 5:00.
