Dean and I decided to start a club soccer team for landon's age group. We have a pretty good group of boys and we were needing something more than rec soccer. We signed up as an independent team. Hurricane Tigers FC. We had our first game on Saturday and it was fun to watch the boys learn and grow. Landon scored our first goal and then we kept going. Our goalie had a couple great saves with a hands ball in our goalie box. We ended up winning 9-2. We don't enter in scores this year or keep track of standings, but of course we still do on our own. We have a lot to work on but it was a good first game. They only get to play 7v7 and we have 11 boys so trying to figure out subbing and things is a work in progress. Landon had a good game, but was upset with how much he got pulled out. All the boys were, so hopefully we can figure it out. It should be a fun season to watch the boys grow and play.
